My Bible Journaling Must-Haves

I’ve been Bible journaling for a few months now, and I love it so much. (I wrote about Bible journaling here, and use #katiethefaithplanner on Instagram.) It’s the perfect combination of creativity and worship. I truly feel like it’s improving my relationship with God, too!

I get a lot of questions about the Bible journaling products I use. A great thing about Bible journaling is that you can really use anything — whatever you have in your crafting stash will work! But I also know how fun it is to shop for new craft supplies.

I’m going full enabler today and sharing some of my favorite Bible journaling products AND some things that are on my wishlist.

My Must Haves + Most Used Products

A Journaling Bible // I use a Single Column ESV Journaling Bible, and I love it. It has wide, lined margins on every page. The Inspire Bible is a journaling Bible several friends love. It has a mix of wide, lined margins and wide, illustrated margins that are ready to color. If you feel uncomfortable writing in a Bible, you can use a cute notebook like this one.

– Tabs for the books of the Bible // There are so many cute Bible tabs available these days. I have a set on both my journaling Bible and my study Bible, and I love them so, so much.
I love this set that’s on my study Bible. (There are two packs, make sure you get both or you’ll only have half the Bible!) This new black + white set makes me wish I had another Bible that needed tabs. Note: I couldn’t find the set that’s on my journaling Bible online. However, they’re by American Crafts, and they’re available in select Michaels stores.

– Pens // Illustrated Faith pens are my favorite for Bible journaling. They’re felt tip pens that have some sort of magical quality that prevents them from bleeding, or even shadowing, on thin Bible pages.

– Alphabet Stickers // I love using alphabet stickers to highlight key words on the page. The Illustrated Faith ‘Homespun’ font is so cute, and it’s available in tons of colors. I also love the me & my BIG ideas alphabet sticker value pack.

-Tip Ins //  You can easily make these yourself with cardstock or cute scrapbook paper, but this pack and this pack are even easier and they’re so cute! These are so fun when you have a lot of notes, or notes you want to keep a little more private. You can see how I use tip ins in my journaling bible here.

– Stickers // I have to mention the me & my BIG ideas Faith Value Pack. This pack of stickers is designed for planners, but it’s perfect for Bible journaling! You can see how I’ve used it for a page in my Bible here.

On My Wishlist

-Stamps // I’m just now getting into stamping, and I’ve had my eye on a few Illustrated Faith stamp sets for awhile. These basic patterns, this ‘Bright and Brave’ set with fun illustrations and boxes for labeling notes, and this ‘Names of God’ set are at the top of my list. All three of these are sets I see myself using over and over.

-More tabs // Themed tabs are perfect for labeling your journaled-on pages by topic. I’ve used generic tabs a few time, and I love how easy to find passages on specific topics. I love this black + white set, and this blue + green set.
